Vernal pool talk on April 14

VernalĀ  pools are usually temporary pools that fill with snowmelt and spring run-off, and then dry sometime during the summer.
Take a look at some of the animals, such as wood frogs, spotted and blue spotted salamanders, and fairy shrimp that rely on vernal pools to survive during a slide show to be hosted by the Mattapoisett Land Trust at the Mattapoisett Library on Tuesday, April 14th from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
