In the middle of the spring’s seal pup “shower”, Ms. Zagzebski will describe the work of the center in saving abandoned seal pups and how volunteers can help in that work. She’ll also describe how the center assisted with last fall’s “Kempocalypse” when hundreds for Kemp’s ridley turtles were rescued from the shores of Cape Cod. Learn how you can help with this national effort having a local flavor. The lecture will take place at the Friends’ Meeting House on Marion Road (Route 6) in Mattapoisett beginning at 1:00 pm.
