The funds necessary for the Mattapoisett Land Trust to fulfill its mission come from the membership dues and donations of concerned citizens and visitors. We have established a number of different categories of membership through which you can demonstrate your commitment to our cause. ( Since the MLT is a charitable non-profit corporation, all dues and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.)

To encourage young people to become involved in the land preservation effort, we have established a category of membership for those under 12 called “Friends of Salty”, named after the iconic seahorse on our Dunseith Property. All memberships at the Family level or higher will include membership in the “Friends of Salty” for all children under the age of 12. (Please provide us with the names and ages of the children on the Membership Form.)

We also ask that if you work for a company that has a matching gift program you contact the appropriate authority to determine whether the MLT could be the recipient of a matching donation.
